Here you'll find information about the governance of WReN.

We've developed the governance structure to reflect the roles of the water companies as the primary abstractors of water in the region.

We also need to make sure there is plenty of opportunities for regulators and other representatives to give their input, feedback, and review.

The structure

The governance structure for WReN has been developed to reflect the roles of the water companies as the primary abstractors in the region, as well as the need to ensure suitable opportunity for input and review from regulators and other sector representatives.

The WReN plan is currently funded by Yorkshire Water and Northumbrian Water, but as the plan develops, other sources of funding may also be required.
